Outdoor Cardio

Hey guys

It’s common that the additional fat deposits in our body in Spring are the result of all the extra calorie intake we had during the Winter time. Now that Summer is upon us, what are you waiting for? It’s time to get back to cardio.
With the sun shining outside, let’s leave the treadmills and stair climbers and head outdoors. Why not try cardio at the beach or just running in the park. Or how about in the pool?

POOL CARDIO
Cardio in the pool can actually be fun and even convenient, being accessible all year round if you have an indoor pool. Running in the pool is a great workout for any person, whether you are physically active or just starting out. Using the resistance of the water itself, Pool Cardio will not only burn calories and make you sweat but by providing resistance all around your body, it will give you a highly effective workout. And it’s fun too! A 30-minute workout will burn 700 calories.

There are also many variations that you can try out too. For example, you can combine cardio in the pool with weights and water noodles. This combination will add even more resistance and will be a terrific core training and total body workout. So, have a dip and get lean and fit. For more information about this program or how to get into it, drop me an email.

Thank you

Miami Bodies

Hey guys

As you know, I have traveled to Miami quite a bit recently for my personal training business as well as for photo shoots. Miami’s a great location—a tropical city with beaches open year-round.

It has the perfect scenery and environment for the physique athlete too. Just take a look at the many restaurants offering wide selections of salads and dinner menus with low-carb dishes. There are also the smoothie bars. So while there, you have no excuse but to lose that extra love handle and be in tip-top shape, 24/7.

While you may not live in Miami, you too can get in shape especially now that summer is coming. I would recommend that you increase your cardio and cut out your intake of processed carbohydrates (e.g. French fries, donuts, cookies and potato chips) at least 6 days a week.

If you need more information, just contact me. Have a great start to Summer and a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

Don’t forget, live fit and keep it fit!
