Summer Salad

Hey guys

Here is a very nice summer salad from Jamie Oliver. It uses watercress, pear and rockets. If you can’t find rockets, you can substitute that with spinach.

Here’s his recipe:
For one person I normally use around half a pear, 2 big handfuls of watercress and 2 big handfuls of rocket.

If the pear skins are nice I just give them a wash, if not I remove them with a peeler. Then cut them in half and deseed. It doesn’t really matter how you cut them up. Sometimes in big rough chunks, maybe sliced up or even grated. Then place into a bowl with the watercress and rocket. The pepperiness of the leaves works so well with the sweetness of the pear.

Drizzle with good extra virgin olive oil just to coat, a small squeeze of lemon juice (because the pear juice is slightly acidic but very tasty), and season well with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Toss all this together and serve. Shave over some Parmesan or pecorino, sprinkle over some walnuts and tuck in.

Personally, I love this salad as it’s simple and refreshing. I usually make it in the summer for friends especially when we have a barbecue.

Thank you again guys and Happy Summer!

Transformation Spotlight

Hey guys

Let me introduce to you a client of mine who had a goal quite different from many of my other female clients — Patrizza wanted to put on more weight (yes, more weight) but only with good muscle quality.

Working very hard for the past 3 months, she has made quite an astounding improvement. Not only did she gain 10 lbs of lean muscle, going up to 111 lbs from 101 lbs, she also dropped her body fat percentage. That went from 13.8% to just 9.9%.

Her dedication and focus, as you can see, has been a key factor to her progress. I am so proud and happy for you Patrizza, let's keep up the good work!

You are such an inspiration!

Rooibos – The Trend on Tea

Hey guys

Have you heard about this new trend in tea?

Rooibos tea is a red tea that originated from South Africa and is now quite widely available across the country. It makes the perfect natural beverage as it does not contain any preservatives or additives. In addition, it is naturally caffeine-free.

According to studies conducted in South Africa and Japan, Rooibos tea may possess many potential health benefits — helping with such ailments as nervous tension and hypertension, headaches and insomnia. It is also known to alleviate irritated skin and rashes where it is brewed and placed directly on the infected areas. Rooibos tea also contains anti-oxidants which helps boost the immune system while slowing the aging process.

With such wonderful health benefits, drinking Rooibos tea will certainly be a good thing for your body.

Thank you guys

God bless
