Tuna for Living

Hey guys

Here is a photo of the tuna steak that I made last weekend. Doesn’t it look awesome? And it’s an easy recipe too.

Just heat the grill to 450 degrees F and sear each side of the steak for 2 min or until the color of the tuna’s surface changes. Today, there are modern grills out there that actually have a “searing” option built right in. Isn’t that neat.

Let’s talk a little about tuna. While the consumption of canned tuna accounts for the majority of fish eaten by Americans, it doesn’t compare to the wonderfully firm, dense and meaty flavor and texture of fresh tuna. Both canned and fresh tuna are available throughout the year. December is the time to get fresh Hawaiian tuna.

Tuna fish are truly a nutrient-dense food. An excellent source of high quality protein, tuna is rich in a variety of important nutrients including the minerals selenium, magnesium, and potassium; the B vitamins niacin, B1 and B6; and perhaps most importantly, the beneficial omega-3 essential fatty acids.

Here are some health benefits associated with tuna:
  • Tuna can improve overall cardiovascular health
  • Omega-3s help prevent obesity and improve insulin response
  • It can reduce the risk of macular degeneration
  • It promotes detoxification
Do you think we should start thinking more about eating tuna?

Thank you so much again for stopping by, God bless.

Home Cooking is Good

Hey guys

The best tasting foods are those cooked at home with natural and fresh ingredients. Sometimes, home cooking can also be healthy cooking resulting in healthy food.

Unlike pre-packaged foods, in home cooking you are often able to use basic and natural ingredients and seasoning. Thus, these foods won't contain the benzoates, nitrites, sulphites and sorbates that are commonly used as preservatives in food. Although it is generally safe to consume these chemicals, sometimes certain health effects may be felt by some individuals. For example, sulphites in food could be a cause of concern for asthma sufferers.

Home cooking may also help mend the body and may prove helpful in dealing with the following: Cancer, AIDS, Sugar Diabetes, Uncontrollable Stomachs, Heart Attacks, Asthma, Glaucoma, Aneurisms, Alzheimer, Weight, Colds, Kidneys, Allergies, Female Menstrual, Hormonal & Menopause Problems, the Bladder, Blood Pressure, Pancreas, Lupus, ADD, Acid Reflux, the Colon, restoration of Blood Cells and much, much, more.

I encourage you today to start a new healthy life by cooking at home.

Love you guys

Transformation Spotlight x2

Hey guys

Talk about twice the joy! Here are two of my clients who have given me just that.

First is Fern. In just 3 weeks she has managed to drop her body fat from 29% to 20% while reducing her weight from 135 lbs to 131 lbs. All this in just three weeks. Look at how much difference that makes.

Then there is Fern's friend Shalini. She reduced her body fat from 26% to 20% while dropping her weight to 120 lbs from 125 lbs. A remarkable achievement in those same three weeks.

They have both worked so hard and consistently and the results really show their efforts. I am happy that they are on track to realizing their goals and that I am able to help them along.

Thanks to both of you for your focus and dedication. And thanks for letting me share your success with others. Let's continue towards your final goal!
